christ is our savior

I am a follower of Jesus. God is first and foremost in my life. Living with an eternal perspective in mind keeps us on the right path, and I believe we should heed God's Word in every area of our lives.

Below are some modern sermons and resources that have greatly impacted my life for the better, and I feel they could do the same for you!

grace / salvation

Christianity is not a condemning, 'shame-on-you' type of religion as you might have heard. On the contrary, Jesus sacrifice on the cross means that we can be FORGIVEN of our sins/wrongdoings - a clean slate.

POLITICS / VALUES

Everyone wants a piece of Jesus - Republicans and Democrats alike believe he's on their side. The truth is, that could be argued successfully both ways! What matters most is to not let our political views divide us as a unified body of Christ.

Marriage

Not casual, not contractual, but a covenant approach to marriage is what God desires for us. A sacrificial, giving, Christ-centered, and others-focused relationship is the Creator's design - and worth waiting for.

freedom

Get out of your head - don't let a toxic thought life rule you from within. Be transformed by the renewing of your mind, and get free from sin and addiction - both to honor God and to improve your life.

FAITH / DOUBT

Everyone experiences doubt in their walk with God. Doubt that He exists, doubt that he wants the best for us, doubt that sin really leads to spiritual death and that obedience really leads to life. Faith is necessary to please God, so what does faith actually look like in today's world?
